Winner of the Audience Award at the Chicago Latino Int. Film Festival 2009 and Best Caribbean Film Festival of Cinema of San Juan) is a powerful drama about the politics of sexual identity. Conducted among the picturesque mountains of the village of San José de Ocoa in the Dominican Republic, the film focuses on the figure of Maria (Marilu Acosta) a hermaphrodite born in the village, who suffers social discrimination. In search of a new life, Maria embarks on a journey where roads cross the inter molasses (Garibaldi Reyes) fleeing the city of Santo Domingo after a murder, but could this be the love of his life.
