Tape ring is a method of foreskin restoration using tape, that can be used in early stages of restoration. This method consists in pulling the skin to cover the glans, and then using one piece of tape to form a ring around the skin, to prevent the skin from sliding and uncovering the glans. The more skin that is pulled before placing the tape, the more tension that will be generated.

People who don't have enough skin to cover their glans completely should instead use cross taping or manual tugging.
