Traumatic neuroma of the penis occurs when the nerves in the penile skin are severed during the amputation of the foreskin, the nerves are also severed. The attempts by the nerves to regenerate form penile neuromas.[1] Traumatic neuroma of the penis is very clearly a complication of circumcision.
