Mable M. Mweemba
Mable M. Mweemba is member of the 2018 Guideline Development Group (GDG) of the WHO. The GDG's task is to develop updated recommendations on safe male circumcision for HIV prevention and related service delivery for adolescent boys and men in generalized HIV epidemics.

Ms. Mable Mweemba is heading the Adolescent Health Program under the Reproductive Health Unit in the Department of Public Health and Research at the Ministry of Health, headquarters in Lusaka Zambia.
Her work is on Adolescent Health with a focus on sexual reproductive health and HIV prevention among adolescents and youths particularly in clinical and public health interventions. She coordinates the development and implementation of guidelines, training manuals and the Adolescent Health Strategy under the Ministry of Health in Zambia. Ms. Mable Mweemba has experience in coordinating and conducting trainings in adolescent and youth friendly health services which mainly aims at creating friendly environments and deals with service provider attitudes to help the adolescents access the wide range of health services they need. She is the lead officer in the Ministry of Health in adolescent health programming interventions, resource and partner mobilization and coordination to leverage resources at country level. She is secretary for the Adolescent Health Technical Working Group coordinated by the Ministry of Health and sits on a number of national/government advisory groups on adolescents and youths in the country.
Mweeba has published on the effects of HIV on children with neurocysticercosis. There is no indication of her position on male circumcision.
