Für mich heißt Queer vor allem eins: Selbstbestimmung. Queer heißt für mich sexuelle Selbstbestimmung, körperliche Selbstbestimmung und soziale Selbstbestimmung. Leider sind wir davon noch sehr weit entfernt. Noch immer werden die von den allgemeinen Menschenrechten im [[Gesetze#Grundgesetz|Grundgesetz]] und in der [[Gesetze#UN-Kinderrechtskonvention|Kinderschutzcharta]] verbrieften, individuellen Selbstbestimmungsrechte durch Kollektivrechte, das Recht des Stärkeren, außer Kraft gesetzt, ohne Rücksicht auf den eigentlichen Menschen. Queer heißt für mich: Selbstbestimmung. Und somit ist für mich der Kampf um das Recht auf genitale Selbstbestimmung für alle Kinder ein zutiefst queeres Anliegen. Denn jedes Kind verdient den gleichen Schutz, unabhängig von Geschlecht und Genital.
