Anna Freud, Paris 1957

Anna Freud (3 December 1895 in Vienna, Austria – 9 October 1982 in London, United Kingdom) was the youngest daughter of Sigmund Freud and the founder of the discipline of child psychology.

Freud was a co-founder of the Psychoanalytic Study of the Child in 1945.

Freud was honoured for her outstanding contributions by being recognised by the Crown with appointment as Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE).[1]
