The late Thomas J. Ritter, M.D.[a 1], F.A.C.S.[a 2], had practiced general surgery for over three decades, and was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Ritter was a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. Father of six children, he lived with his wife in Pennsylvania.
He is mentioned In Memorium in Rosemary Romberg's book Circumcision: The Painful Dilemma for which he wrote the first foreword.
