This template is a homebrewn IntactiWiki replacement for Wikipedia's way too complex [[Template:Cite web]]. It has less parameters and should be used for all online website references.

Required parameters

  • <title>

Mutually exclusive parameters

  • <date> || <season>

Note: You can either use the <date> parameter or the <season> parameter, not both at the same time. If both are listed in the template, <date> will be used.

Deprecated parameters

  • <coauthors> - use <last2>, <first2>, etc., instead
  • <work> - use <website> instead

Examples

Note: The small icon in front of each reference also has a "REFnews" mouseover text and helps template developers to more easily identify the template used in large articles. Chances are that they will be used permanently.
