Sylvia Joy Zakusilov, RN[a 1], MSN[a 2], NP[a 3], a certified family nurse practitioner with a Masters of Science in nursing. She graduated with honors from Bethel College and University of Saint Francis. She has 12 years of experience in the emergency department and is a Certified Emergency Nurse. Sylvia has a passion for pediatrics and holistic healthcare, as well as supporting moms with breastfeeding. She has seen many circumcision complications and loves to advocate for baby boys. As a Christian, Sylvia believes God’s design of our bodies is incredible. She is a contributing writer for the nonprofit Little Images. Sylvia has four children and enjoys spending time outside in nature.[1]
She is member of the Advisory Board of Your Whole Baby.
