Rebecca Wald is a graduate of the Template:JUNI and Brooklyn Law School.

She is the founder and publisher of Beyond the Bris, a web-based project about the Jewish movement to question infant circumcision. Beyond the Bris has received widespread attention, and has been written about in The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Village Voice, Tikkun, The Jewish Daily Forward, Haaretz, and The Times of Israel, among others.

Wald is also contributor to IntactNews.

Together with Lisa Braver Moss, she is co-author of Celebrating Brit Shalom, the first-ever book on alternative bris, which will be launched on May 15, 2015.
