Ernest L. Wynder

Ernest L. Wynder (30 April 1922 as Ernst Ludwig Weinberg in Herford, Westphalia, Germany – 14 July 1999, USA) was an American epidemiology and public health researcher who studied the health effects of smoking tobacco.[1][2]

Circumcision promotion

In 1954, Wynder et al. promoted male circumcision as a protection against Cervical cancer in women (see publication).
