John W. Travis

John W. Travis, M.D.[a 1], M.P.H.[a 2], specialized in preventive medicine at Johns Hopkins, founded the first wellness center in 1975, and co-authored the best-selling Wellness Workbook. In 1991, he shifted his career to infant wellness, co-founding the "Alliance for Transforming the Lives of Children"[1], and at that time he recognized the crucial importance of ending infant circumcision.[2]

Travis is now resident in Australia.
