Aktion Regen - Verein für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit (Rain Campaign - Association for Development Cooperation: sexual and reproductive health, family planning and HIV prevention) is a non-profit, politically independent and non-confessional association from Vienna, Austria, founded in 1989 by Dr. Maria Hengstberger, M.D.[a 1]. The association is largely financed by donations.[1]

Their main focus, as from their own website, is "practice-oriented education on sexual and reproductive health, on family planning, on mother-child health, on female genital mutilation, mental health and HIV / AIDS prevention in developing countries as well as in Austrian organizations With integration work."

The word Rain in the association name symbolizes the lasting support by intelligible knowledge transfer. According to the motto of the association ('Water to the roots'), this knowledge gives people the opportunity to lead a self-determined life.

Dr. Jutta Reisinger, GP[a 2] at Aktion Regen, spoke at the WWDOGA 2017 in Cologne.
