Intact Sweden.org
Intact Sweden.org is a non-profit association that was formed on 6 October 2017. The purpose of the association is to inform citizens and others who live or reside in Sweden, decision-making assemblies, political actors, supervisory authorities and health care professionals with many concerned about the ethical aspects and the physical and psychological effects of circumcision, with the aim of non-medically motivated circumcision of Children - both boys and girls - must be completely prohibited by law, in Sweden as well as abroad.
The association aims to help people affected by circumcision - either themselves or as close relatives of others who have been circumcised - be able to receive recovery and help with emotional healing. This can be done by, for example, support groups and therapists linked to the activity. Course activities, lectures and café activities can also be included as part of the association's working methods.
The association caters to people of all ages, regardless of background. To finance the association's activities, the association receives a membership fee from its members and receives grants and donations.
