This article is about physical injuries to biological organisms. It is not to be confused with Major trauma (see below).[1]
Injury, also known as physical trauma, is damage to the body caused by an external force.[2] This may be caused by accidents, falls, hits, weapons, and other causes.[2][1]
Major trauma
Major trauma is injury that has the potential to cause prolonged disability or death.[1]
