Initialism: Human Genital Mutilation.
The International Coalition for Genital Integrity (ICGI) introduced the term Human Genital Mutilation (HGM) in 2006.
Lloyd Schofield has been using the hashtag #HGM for human genital mutilation frequently and particularly when responding to articles about FGM on Twitter. It's being picked up there, so please consider using #HGM, too.
HGM is a collective category for CGC, FGC, FGM, IGM, and MGM.
