The Save the Children Fund, commonly known as Save the Children, is an organization established in the United Kingdom in 1919.[1] Today it is a global movement made up of 29 national member organizations which works in 120 countries.[1]
Mission
They want to "improve the lives of children through better education, health care, and economic opportunities, as well as providing emergency aid in natural disasters, war, and other conflicts."[1]
They claim that the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child was based on their founder’s declaration.[2]
Focus on FGM
Doing a simple search on their website, one won't find any mentioning of MGM topics, but only of FGM.
