A cesspool is a covered pit for receiving sewerage from a house; a filthy, corrupt or contaminated place.[1]
The late circumcision fanatic Edgar J. Schoen, M.D.[a 1], and other circumcision promoters quite improperly called the human foreskin a "cesspool".
In reality, the human foreskin has numerous immunological and protective functions which protect against infection.
