David Joshua Handelsman, (born 16 April 1950), (AO), is a Jewish[1] Australian.
Profile
Handelsman is trained in Medicine and Endocrinology. His expertise is in testicular function and androgen physiology, pharmacology, and toxicology. His experience spans basic, clinical, and public health domains including a recent focus on genetic models of androgen action, steroid mass spectrometry, and anti-doping science. He was Australia’s first Professor in Reproductive Endocrinology and Andrology. He has worked in the USA, Australia, and Germany. His professional involvement includes the World Health Organisation (WHO) Human Reproduction Programme's Male Task Force, WHO Human Reproduction Programme, United Nations Fund for Population Activities, Endocrine Society of Australia, World Anti-Doping Agency’s Health, Medicine and Research Committee, and Australian Drug Evaluation Committee.[2]
Circumfetish
Handelsman is Professor of Reproductive Endocrinology and Andrology at the University of Sydney.[3] It is quite possible that he is or was a colleague of circumfetishist Brian J. Morris and allegedly co-authored some of Morris's articles just to please him. Those articles don't cover Handelsman's professional focus. Chances are that he just supports Morris' ideas to cover his own Jewish cognitive dissonance about his own circumcision as a newborn. He also is member of Australia’s Jewish community.[1]
