The new treatment is a form of cell treatment applied as a spray. It contains keratinocytes, which are the main cell type in the outer layer of the [[skin]], and fibroblasts, a cell type found in connective tissue. This was a phase 2 trial that aimed to see whether the new treatment was effective and safe, and to find out the best dose to use.
