State medical societies and associations represent the business, commercial, and legal interests of the medical industry on a state level. Each state has a medical society or association. The Colorado Medical Association has supplied a convenient list of all of the state societies and associations.
Medicaid
The maintenance, continuation, and improvement of payments from the various state Medicaid plans to the state's physicians is an important interests of each state's medical society.
