Lindsay R. Watson on Academia.edu

Lindsay R. Watson, BScHons, DipTchg, is an independent New Zealand researcher. His book Unspeakable Mutilations is a product of his researches into the changing attitudes and treatment of male sexuality during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He is currently researching the New Zealand history of the social and health issues related to the non-therapeutic circumcision of male minors, from ancient Polynesia to the present. He has also researched the New Zealand purity campaigns of Henry Bligh of the Australasian White Cross League (1902-1930).
