Evidence Based Birth, Inc. is a Kentucky-based, woman-owned, for-profit corporation that provides evidence-based information regarding birth. The organization was created by Rebecca Dekker, RN, M.S., Ph.D., and mother of three children.
Birth usually is beyond the scope of IntactiWiki, however the American Medical Community has associated medically-unnecessary, non-therapeutic infant circumcision with the birth process. Dr. Dekker has wisely provided a lengthy, well-researched article on infant male circumcision, so her website is indexed here.
Dekker attempted to maintain a posture of neutrality, which apparently led her to include numerous biased works by discredited Brian J. Morris and his coauthors. Her otherwise fine work is marred by the presence of so much bias.
