The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), despite its name is not governmental organization. It is a non-governmental organization created by President-elect Donald J. Trump to give advice on reducing the size and wastefulness of the executive branch of the United States government.
DOGE will be lead by billionaire Elon Musk and the billionaire entreprenour Vivek Ramaswamy.
DOGE is supposed to expire on 4 July 2026, which is the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
