Elon Musk, B.A., B.S. (born 28 June 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa) He and Vivek Ramaswamy have been appointed by President-elect Donald J. Trump to the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).[1]

Early life

Musk's mother, Maye Haldeman Musk, was born in Canada. She is a dietician and model. His father is Errol Musk, a representive of a wealthy South African family.

Musk attended the English-language elementary school, Waterkloof House Preparatory School through grade 7.

Musk attended Bryanston High School from Grade 8, but transferred to Pretoria Boys High School because of bullying.

Musk briefly attended the University of Pretoria before relocating to Canada.

Musk entered Queen's University at Kingston in 1990.

United States

Musk started at the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 where he earned a B.A. degree. He also earned a B.S. degree from the Wharton School.

Citizenship

Musk became a citizen of Canada in 1989. He became a citizen of the United States in 2002.[2]
