(The following text or part of it is quoted from the free Wikipedia article Pidgeon_Pagonis:)
Pagonis was born in Chicago, IL, and has Mexican and Greek ancestry. Pagonis seems to be of indeterminate gender.

As a child, Pagonis, a queer and non-binary person who uses they/them pronouns,[1][2] was diagnosed with androgen insensitivity syndrome (AIS).[3] He/She were not told of this intersex variation, were assigned female at birth, told that he/she had ovarian cancer (when they in fact had internal testes and no ovaries), and subjected to a series of surgeries to alter his/her genitalia.[3][1]
