The current February 2025 BMA guidance for British medical doctors regarding non-therapeutic circumcision of children is very cautious. Doctors may also wish to consider the draft statement issued in January 2026 by the [[Crown Prosecution Service]] prior to agreeing to perform a [[circumcision]] on a child.
