The late Sherwin T. Wine (25 January 1928 in Detroit, USA – 21 July 2007 in Morocco) was a Jewish rabbi and the founder of the Association of Humanistic Rabbis, the Society for Humanistic Judaism and other organizations.
Rabbi Wine officiated the first non-cutting Brit Shalom naming ceremony around 1970.[1]
Publications
Rabbi Wine was a prolific writer who authored numerous books and articles.[2]
