Trapped/buried/concealed/inconspicuous penis are varied conditions that cause the penis to appear to be small or less visible in some way. Maizels et al. (1986) classified the various conditions.[1]

Only buried penis occurs naturally and it is a contraindication for circumcision.[2] The others are iatrogenic complications of non-therapeutic child circumcision.[3]

Srinivasan et al. (2011) discussed management of these conditions. Most require surgery.[4]
