Anna Freud (3 December 1895 in Vienna, Austria – 9 October 1982 in London, United Kingdom) was the youngest daughter of Sigmund Freud and the founder of the discipline of child psychology.
Freud was honoured for her outstanding contributions by being recognised by the Crown with appointment as Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.[1]
