The late Charles Darwin (12 February 1809 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, United Kingdom – 19 April 1882 in Down House, Down, Kent, United Kingdom) was a prominent British naturalist, geologist, and biologist.
Darwin is famous for his theory that natural selection causes evolution.
