The American Urological Association (AUA) was founded in 1902, being a premier urologic association today, providing support to the urologic community. Their mission is to promote the highest standards of urological clinical care through education, research and the formulation of health care policy. The AUA has more than 23,000 members worldwide.[1] The AUA is the medical trade association that defends and promotes the business interests of urologists in the United States.
The AMA maintains offices in Linthicum, Maryland.
The AUA publishes The Journal of Urology.
