Early life
Lipman was born into an Orthodox Jewish family in Chicago where he attended Orthodox Jewish schools until he was 18.
Education
Kenneth Lipman has an M.S. in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Integrative Health.
Personal life
He is a former member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the largest futures exchange in the world. He meditates daily and is a recovering atheist. On weekends, he often plays guitar and piano at music jams. He lives with his dog, Joni Mitchell, in Berkeley.
