Prof. Dr. Maximilian Stehr is chief physician of the Kinderchirurgie- and Urology Clinic Hallerwiese Nuremberg and chairman of the Commercial Pediatric Urology of the German Society of Pediatric Surgery (DGKCH).

- 1992 PhD in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology
- 2000 approved as a specialist in pediatric surgery
- since 2003 Senior physician at the Children's Hospital and Children's Polyclinic Dr. von Hauner Children's Hospital
- 2003 Head of the Manometry Laboratory of the Surgical Clinic of Children
- 2005 Habilitation
- 2006 Appointed Professor of Paediatric Surgery at the Children's Surgical Clinic of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich
- 2006 at the same time line of Paediatric Surgery Research Laboratories at the Dr. von Hauner Children's Hospital
- since 2009, the first chairman of the Association of Pediatric Urology of the German Society of Pediatric Surgery
