Sarah Ann McLachlan (born 28 January 1967 in Halifax, Nova Scotiac) is a Canadian singer-songwriter.[1] As of 2008, she had sold over 40 million albums worldwide.[2]

McLachlan appeared in the Hope Rising concert in Toronto on 7 November 2012, alongside Annie Lennox and Angélique Kidjo.[3]
