In 2012, Dr. Rotta left the [[AAP|American Academy of Pediatrics]] to protest their support of infant [[circumcision]]. He then spent five years as Case Western Reserve University’s Linsalata Endowed Chair in Pediatric Critical Care and Emergency Medicine and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care.
