Dr. [[Alfonso Cepeda-Emiliani]], in a presentation in Brisbane, [[Australia]], has called attention to the harmful and unethical nature of the practice of penile neurotomy (PN). He reports it was first introduced by Brazilian urologists in the 1980s as a treatment for [[premature ejaculation ]] (PE), but without the appropriate rigorous ethical/scientific scrutiny.
