Rolf Dietrich Herzberg (* February 14, 1938 in Wuppertal-Ronsdorf, Germany) is a German Legal scholar.

After reading the book "Die verlorenen Söhne"[1] (The Lost Sons) by Dr. Necla Kelek, he asked (according to his own statement to the author of this IntactiWiki article) his staff member Holm Putzke to investigate about the topic circumcision. Putzke wrote, among other things, a memorandum on the birthday of Herzberg, which was intensively concerned with the subject and became the basis for the decision of the Cologne District Court in the Cologne circumcision court judgment.
