Renate Bernhard is a German activist against FGM who spoke at the WWDOGA since 2014, being a member of pro familia NRW. She is a journalist and documentary film producer.
Her film "Narben, die keiner sieht" (Scars not seen) pointed to the consequences of female genital mutilation very early.
