The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), despite its name, is not governmental organization. It is a non-governmental organization created by President-elect Donald J. Trump to give advice on reducing the size and wastefulness of the executive branch of the United States government.[1]
DOGE will be lead by billionaire Elon Musk and the billionaire entreprenour Vivek Ramaswamy.[1]
DOGE is supposed to expire on 4 July 2026, which is the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.[1]
