Christopher Price read law at [https://www.ox.ac.uk {{UNI|Oxford University]|Oxon}}, qualified as a solicitor in 1971 and has practiced mainly in government service, with a particular interest in international law and [[human rights]].
Price's brief (1996) to the Law Commission for England and Wales is credited with preventing the Commission from declaring the non-therapeutic circumcision of children to be lawful in the [[United Kingdom]].
