Funda Celik is born in Germany, has Turkish roots and lives in southern Germany. The pregnancy and birth of her two sons prompted her to question the Turkish religious circumcision ritual of her relatives.
As an empathic mother, after immersing herself into the [[MGM]] topic, she was unable to join in the ritual. Now she informs other parents about the injustice of [[circumcision]] in children.
