Dr. JeanHuot examined six-month-Marie Huot is remembered as the physician who performed a medicallyold twin boys Bruce and Brian Reimer. Bruce was the first born of the two, so he was scheduled first. Dr. Huot inexplicably chose to use an electrocautery device to perform the medically-unnecessary, non-therapeutic circumcision. The electric current so burned Bruce's [[penis]] that it was destroyed.
Brian's circumcision was cancelled after the disaster with Bruce's circumcision and never performed. Brian's foreskin later spontaneously become retractable.
Brian and Bruce/David both committed suicide.
