Arthur Janov

The late Arthur Janov, B.A., M.S.W, Ph.D., (21 August 1924 in Los Angeles, CA, USA – 1 October 2017 in Malibu, CA, USA) was a California psychologist, psychotherapist, and writer. He gained notability as the creator of primal therapy, a treatment for mental illness that involves repeatedly descending into, feeling, and experiencing long-repressed childhood pain.[1]
