Rolf Dietrich Herzberg (born 14 February 1938 in Wuppertal-Ronsdorf, Germany) is a German Legal scholar.

After reading the book "Die verlorenen Söhne"[1] (The Lost Sons) by Dr. Necla Kelek, he motivated Holm Putzke to investigate about the topic circumcision. Putzke wrote, among other things, a memorandum on the 70th birthday of Herzberg, which was intensively concerned with the subject and became the basis for the decision of the Cologne District Court in the Cologne circumcision court judgment.

Since December 2016, he is an intaktiv Ambassador.
