Rebecca Dekker, APRN, LCCE, RN[a 1], M.S.[a 2], Ph.D.[a 3], is an author and founder and the owner of Evidence Based Birth®.
Dr. Dekker is the lead author of a massive, monumental review of the evidence regarding non-therapeutic infant circumcision. Her numerous citations are awkwardly located in a separate box. Most have links to the abstract or text.
Dekker attempted to maintain a posture of neutrality, which apparently led her to include numerous biased works by Brian J. Morris and his coauthors. Her otherwise fine work is marred by the presence of so much bias.
Her Amazon biography states:
Rebecca Dekker, PhD, RN, is the founder and CEO of Evidence Based Birth®. After earning her Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD in Nursing, Rebecca embarked on a career as a nurse scientist and professor. In 2016, she left academia to become a full-time entrepreneur and consumer advocate for evidence based care. Rebecca lives in Lexington, Kentucky, where she and her husband Dan are raising three children and an assortment of pets.
Babies Are Not Pizzas is her first book.
