Early life and education

Alissa is a native of Beirut, Lebanon, where she lived in the Armenian Quarter.[1] She studied English literature at Lebanese University.[2]

Adult life

Alissa taught English in the Lebanese school system for more than a decade. She relocated to the United States in 2023 where she wrote for SnackNation and Caroo.[1]
