Kristel Alissa is a professional writer and author with Intact America.

Early life and education

Alissa is a native of Beirut, Lebanon, where she lived in the Armenian Quarter.[1] She studied English literature at Lebanese University.[2]

Adult life

Alissa taught English in the Lebanese school system for more than a decade. She relocated to the United States in 2023 where she wrote for SnackNation and Caroo.[1]

She entered a travel writers contest and won an award for her writing with an article about her native Beirut and won the prize in 2024, which is The Edward-Readicker-Henderson Travel Classics Memorial Scholarship.[3]

Alissa then joined Lucid House Publishing as an Acquisitions Editor,[1] where she is identified as "Kristel Issa" and works under the supervision of Connor Judson Garrett[4] She is reputed to be an expert on attracting search engine listing.

She is now writing for Intact America, where ten of her articles about circumcision, which exhibit flawless English, have been published at this writing.
