TaskForce für effektive Prävention von Genitalverstümmelung e.V. [TaskForce for effective prevention of genital mutilation] is a German association based in Hamburg that campaigns against genital mutilation, but apparently only against FGM among girls. The association was founded in 2007 by Ines Laufer, who had previously been involved with TERRE DES FEMMES against FGM.

With the page "SOS FGM" and the (German) emergency number 01803-767346, the association offers the nationwide first emergency hotline for the protection of acutely endangered girls.

Mission

Safely protect girls from abuse and trauma by genital mutilation (FGM).
