"American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists" (ACOG) is the name of the largest gynecological and obstetric medical society in the United States, based in Washington, DC, with over 55,000 members, over 90 percent of U.S. obstetrician-gynecologists[1]. ACOG is a nonprofit organization of women's health care physicians advocating highest standards of practice, continuing member education and public awareness of women's health care issues.
